Company

Vetrate Artistiche Fiorentine is the art studio established in 1966 by artists Piero Nincheri, Edward Butler, and the Florence art studio Tolleri workforce.

Since our establishment, we have realized the works of many artists, such as: Sigfrido Bartolini, Edward Butler, Luisa Del Campana, Carmine Covello, Fernando Farulli, Padre Tarcisio Manta, Don Battista Marello, Piero Nincheri, Mikuláš Rachlík, Luciano Vinardi. We work permanently together with painters Francesco Mariani and Alberto Pippi, graduated at the Art Institute in Sesto Fiorentino, and partners of our Company.

All our artworks are wholly handcrafted, and based on original designs of our painters. This kind of work needs planning, and an accurate realization, so we entrust it to the forty-years experience of our master glaziers and craftsmen.

Our Company has realized stained glasses and mosaics all over Italy, as well as in Lebanon and United States. We are specialized in the restoration of stained glass and mosaic of all time periods: among the most relevant ones are those in the aisle of Siena Cathedral, in the sacristy of Santa Croce in Florence and in Pontestazzemese (Lucca).

 

Master Glaziers

A Master Glazier is an artisan who has acquired, under the tutelage of other master glaziers, the needed experience to evaluate the quality of the materials and their manufacturing, and also has the skills to plan and realize the whole artwork, defining techniques, procedures, and period of realization.
